Reading: The History Of Hell - Alice K. Turner
I have completed uploading my calendar finally. I was confused as to how it worked, having assumed the calendar was assembled singly from each work by submitting a single print from each deviation as the calendar. I was unaware of the requirement of creating a new deviation just for the calendar and submitting all 14 required prints. I only hope the images are not rendered stretched to fit, but cropped instead.
The DA Prints team have elected to feature my calendar in the 1 Decembre QC article here: [link] I am filled with joy at the recognition!
Its that time of year again, the x-mas holidays. Everyone has an opinion about this season, and I am no exception. Capitalism and consumerism run rampant at all times, but now is the most extreme. As before, I have asked those relatives and friends who insist on sending 'something' to me for x-mas to please refrain from doing so. Some will do it anyway, regardless of these wishes. I have kept all written correspondence from all those who send me mail, including x-mas cards and cheques. At last count I had kept six cheques uncashed, hopefully this year will be less. For me, it is simply a good time of year to visit family and share the joy of life and death.
Dad and I flew to Washington to attend a holiday selling spree to sell rubber band shooters. Though it goes against my better judgement, I helped sell product to consumers. At the very least, I do it only to save money for school; however I find it pains me severely to participate in such matters. Alas, school is very important to me and right now I'll do anything to make some money. Hypocrisy is difficult to avoid in this age.
I'll be visiting my friends Heather and Nathan in Plano this weekend. Its about 53 miles according to Google maps, of course I won't take the highways so my distance may be more like 60 miles. My longest trip in a single day so far is 43 miles, so it will be a new milestone. Perhaps by next Spring I'll complete the holy grail of bicycle enthusiasts: The CENTURY. 100 miles in a single day.
Have a happy winter everyone!
Please visit my

I have no access to a computer with Photoshop right now, but when I do there are more mandalas to come.
